The Models
Subscription Model
This model provides instructors with full access to Skilled Scholars’ platform, tools, and comprehensive support. It ensures that instructors can focus on creating and delivering impactful courses while we manage marketing, operations, and learner engagement.
Subscription Details:

- Monthly Subscription Fee per course: ₦15,000 per month.
- Annual Subscription Fee per course: ₦10,000 per month (paid as a lump sum of ₦120,000 per year).
For every 4 courses you host on Skilled Scholars, you can host a 5th course free of subscription charges.

- Full access to platform tools for course creation.
- Comprehensive marketing and promotional support.
- Technical assistance and access to learner analytics.
- Dedicated customer support for your learners.
This model is ideal for instructors joining after the platform’s launch who prefer a predictable, stable arrangement with unlimited earning potential from their courses.
Revenue-Sharing Model
To recognize and reward instructors who join us before launch, Skilled Scholars offers a Revenue-Sharing Model exclusively for founding instructors. This allows them to use the platform without any upfront subscription fees and earn a generous share of their course revenue.
Revenue Split:
- Instructors: 70% of course revenue.
- Skilled Scholars: 30% of course revenue (to cover platform maintenance, operational costs, support and marketing).

- Instructors who join Skilled Scholars before the official launch automatically qualify for the Revenue-Sharing Model.
- Founding instructors can continue using the Revenue-Sharing Model for the lifetime of their relationship with Skilled Scholars as a token of our appreciation for their early support.
Instructors Joining After Launch
- All instructors joining after the official launch will begin with the Subscription Model.
- Transition Option: Established instructors will transition to the Revenue-Sharing Model once they achieve a total of ₦100,000 in course sales.
- This ensures sustainability while encouraging instructors to achieve sales milestones.
Instructors will receive payments within one weeks after the end of every month, ensuring timely and transparent compensation for their efforts.
